Selective Functional Movement Analysis in Kailua

Selective Functional Movement Analysis in Kailua (SFMA) is completed by watching the patient move. The patient undergoes 12 main movements patterns while the practitioner watches for areas that are not moving or are moving in a dysfunctional way. This allows the practitioner to narrow down where the actual problem is coming from since pain does not always indicate the problem muscle or joint but rather the compensation for the actual dysfunctional tissue or joint. SFMA also helps the practitioner to decide whether the symptoms are coming from a mobility or stability problem. Thus allowing the practitioner to quickly decide on the best treatment plan for the patient.
